I think they high sec miners are just easier to weed out. The real culprits, imo, are the 0.0 ratters. They're the ones making the serious coin. They're the ones doing the most RMT. They're the ones funding vast amounts of supercaps whilst in bed, at work, knobbing etc. Wait, maybe not knobbing.
Anyway, I've made an AFK cloaker. If anyone wants to evemail me, I'd like to hook up and find out a good place to camp whilst I'm at work, or in bed. I've tried looking at dotlan, but the thought of flying about through all those systems is tedious. Gimme a system name, and I'll afk it all day. o_O

I think they would. After all, free isk is free isk.

So far there is zero effect on ratting bots. If anything, ratbot activity has increased in the systems I'm watching.
If they can't catch the ratbots in these systems (for example 6 jumps in 48 hours, continuous ratting 23/7) then ratting bot users have very little to fear.
We'll see but CCP don't have unlimited time - or goodwill - from the playerbase.
It makes you wonder if the high sec mining bots will follow a new career path out in 0.0.

I had nice ones once. I am fighting the urge to go through that once again.

TY Chesty, that led me to fine some more websites.
You're welcome, I quite like watching them whine on that site.
Also...

Not sure what Mittani has to do with the price of cheese, but he appears to have ruffled a few feathers.
Othran, nice work. The Zymgthingy-deleted info was, of course, captured. o7

Ideally, yes. However, they are paying subscribers. I doubt the accounts department would support such methods. They worked out a compromise, I guess.

Originally by: NinjaSpud On a sub note, does anyone know if I can post the name of the macro programs here? I dont wanna get my thread locked, or violate any terms.
or are we all ok w/ me refering to them as Website A, B, or C.
On the assumption that posting anything at all generally leads to a lock, or a bit of "moderation", can you not just post a sentence from each site. We can then google it, and voila, no harm done. And we are all lead to some sites. :-)

I don't think the age of the 6 months referred to the char's age, more the time involved in amassing the money.

It's legal until you get your 2nd warning, then it becomes illegal. Take care out there.

What? They actually pulled it off?
From the same site (found by merely googling the phrase you quoted)...
Originally by: macreh site Recently CCP has been making an increased effort towards eradicating Real Money Trading (RMT) within EVE Online. RMT is the act of purchasing ISK for cash, through dealers on various websites. This is NOT SAFE and your character can be banned or deleted for doing these transactions. These dealers are under intensive watch by CCP and any transactions they make are monitored. Instead of directly purchasing ISK, purchase our mining and planetary interaction macro and make safe, worry free ISK
I bolded the amusing part. Safe and worry free, lol.

In related news, the 6 accounts that I petitioned at the start of the weekend, and that were gone shortly thereafter, are back. I saw them online, so went to their system again. I warped immediately to their POS, and saw them all warp back to the POS. Within a few minutes they had logged off.
Looks like it's time to afk them again. ----------------------------------------

It's somewhat surprising that accounts that were banned, and have since returned, aren't flagged for a follow-up once they return. A few chars that I petitioned for 23/7 ratting a while ago have since returned after an extended leave of absence, and are up to their old shenanigans once again, no matter what time of day it is. If I wasn't present to observe them, nobody would be aware of (or care about) their macroing.
I'll give it a few more days to verify their activities completely before suggesting they be coerced to seek sunlight, if only for the sake of their ailing bones. ----------------------------------------
